Born in Baku, Jalya started dancing at eight years old in traditional Azerbaijan folklore dance style. Later she became an instructor, choreographer and performer in a variety of dance styles consisting of modern and traditional types of Middle Eastern dance in Azerbaijan, Moscow, Malaysia and London. Her past credits include: Solo Belly Dancer at The Twin Towers Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Eastern Dance Festival; Solo Belly Dancer at The Royal Albert Hall and Comic Relief. Jalya gives performances in venues and at parties across the world. She teaches Belly Dancing classes for mixed ability in her central London studio. Range of performances and private tuition available. Jalya has graduated from The Moscow State Law Academy with a diploma in Jurisprudence. She has also worked as an international Model. Her past credits include: Model for Paco Rabanne and Valentino. Former Miss Azerbaijan.
